What is The Bible Matrix?
Before diving in, I’ll share a quick summary on how The Bible Matrix came to be…
I grew up in the Evangelical Pentecostal Church from the age of 6 to 16. At age 18, I went to Uni to discover who I was outside of the family home and gain some freedom to think for myself. When I returned, nothing much had changed and I soon realised that “God” was at the centre of our problems. We believed in God vehemently, with all our hearts, souls and minds and yet we were regressing economically, socially, mentally and physically… So what was going wrong?
Either we weren’t applying the lessons from church accurately or the lessons were wrong. I found it to be the latter…
I’ve dedicated more than a decade to connecting reality to the Bible and the Bible to reality, so here’s my conclusion about the Bible:
The Bible is the physical manifestation of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil.
Contrary to what many Christians like myself were taught, it is NOT all-good and it is NOT a historical account. But it does seek to provide wisdom to mankind through story.
That means, its good must be deciphered from its evils and its truths from its fallacies. In the process of deciphering and studying, we – the readers - develop critical thinking skills and we gain wisdom. I get so excited by this discovery because it means that the Bible is literally an active workbook in training the mind, as it is not as it first seems (much like an optical illusion). That being said, this means that the Bible is not a religious book, but very much a secular one. My job is to reveal this side of the Bible to you.
So what should you expect to see in your inbox?
I’ve split the blog into two main categories:
· Unplug: Unplugging from the matrix is all about detaching from harmful religious ideologies, fallacies, and practices
· Connect: Connecting to the matrix is all about connecting reality to the wisdom of the ages found in the Bible and vice versa
Hence - a true middle ground.
